An accomplished company builder, Jim has been investing with us since 2015. He brings rich general management experience to our Partner Team – as well as deep SAAS-relevant expertise in go-to-market, business model, and pricing strategies.

Jim was Chief Executive Officer, Co-Founder and Director of Fiberlink, which was acquired by IBM in 2013. Under Jim’s leadership, Fiberlink grew into a customer-focused organization that changed the way businesses think about mobile computing. He created a vision for Fiberlink’s MaaS360 product to deliver comprehensive mobile security and management capabilities in an easy-to-use cloud-based platform. Prior to founding Fiberlink in 1993, Jim spent ten years as a sales and services executive at System Industries, a NASDAQ traded storage sub-system provider.

Jim currently serves on the boards of portfolio companies Grayshift, HighLevel and Tesorio as well as those of Revi Media, BERA and G5. He provides a valuable nexus to PeakEquity, a prominent growth stage software investment firm we’ve twice co-invest with, where he also serves as a Partner.

Passionate about education, Jim serves on the board of the Hill School and the Mastery Charter Schools of Camden, where he is Chairman and serves on the executive committee.

A graduate of the University of Virginia, Jim has won various awards including the 2000 Blue Chip Enterprise Award sponsored by the US Chamber of Commerce and Mass Mutual Financial Group, the Greater Philadelphia’s 2001 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in the Software and Technology Services Category, and the 2004 Information and Technology Innovator Award from the Fox School of Business at Temple University. He is a YPO member since 2000.
